About Me
Andrew moved to the UK to start his PhD at the Manchester Business School in September 2009. A born and bred Canadian, Andrew obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and his MBA from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto). Andrew’s vision of how social media can continue to revolutionize the way people interact are what brought him to pursue this PhD, with his research focusing on the contextual factors that influence people’s music experience, whether listening or purchasing, on their mobile phones. Andrew’s supervisor will be Professor Peter Kawalek, whom he met while on a study exchange at MBS. Their shared interests and ideas for the future are what made this research topic possible.
